Duties
- Thoroughly clean guest rooms and public areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to meet high cleanliness standards
- Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and ensure all supplies are stocked for guest comfort
- Perform floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing to maintain a polished appearance in all spaces
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks including waste removal, bathroom sanitation, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for quick resolution
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and janitorial equipment
- Experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning environments demonstrates adaptability and attention to detail
- Knowledge of custodial best practices ensures efficient work flow and quality results
- Previous housekeeper management experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong organizational skills and reliability are essential for success in this role
