Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Lead staff training on cleaning procedures, sanitation protocols, safety regulations, and customer service excellence to promote high performance and professionalism
- Monitor cleaning supplies inventory, manage procurement processes, and ensure proper storage and usage of cleaning agents in accordance with safety standards
- Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to health regulations across all areas of the property
- Address guest requests or complaints promptly with a focus on delivering exceptional service while maintaining operational standards
- Implement team schedules, assign tasks effectively, and oversee staff performance to foster a motivated and cohesive team environment
- Enforce safety procedures related to industrial cleaning, custodial tasks, laundry operations, and general sanitation practices to minimize hazards
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning operations with a strong background in custodial services, industrial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management
- Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while providing clear managerial communication and leadership
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols, safety regulations, commercial cleaning techniques, and janitorial best practices
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks such as inventory control, staff scheduling, and quality inspections
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Experience in managing laundry operations within a hospitality or commercial setting is preferred
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
