Metro Security Services is looking for compassionate, reliable, and confident Unarmed Security Officers to join our growing team at a residential housing facility serving individuals experiencing homelessness.

Schedule
We are currently hiring for the following shifts:
- Evening Shift: 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Overnight Shift: 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM
- Weekend Coverage: 24-hour operations with various shifts available
Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
What You'll Do
- Monitor CCTV
- Maintain a safe and secure residential environment
- Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols
- Monitor resident and visitor activity
- Perform access control and verify authorized entry
- Respond professionally to disturbances, emergencies, and resident concerns
- Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports
- Use verbal de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts peacefully
- Build positive, respectful relationships with residents while maintaining professional boundaries
What We're Looking For
- Professional, dependable, and punctual
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Calm under pressure with excellent judgment
- Comfortable interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to de-escalate situations with professionalism and empathy
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol throughout the shift
- Previous security, military, law enforcement, social services, healthcare, or customer service experience is a plus—but we're willing to train the right candidate.
