Auto Mechanic / General Automotive Repair Technician (Class B Mechanic)Job Description
We are looking for a dependable Class B Mechanic to join our team. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with no weekend work. Pay is based on experience, with higher starting pay available for technicians who provide their own complete set of tools. Basic shop tools are available for those who need them. We also offer paid holidays and a stable, year-round work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform general automotive maintenance and repairs.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical problems.
- Complete brake, suspension, steering, cooling system, and tune-up repairs. (etc)
- Perform oil changes and other scheduled maintenance services.
- Inspect vehicles and recommend necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all shop safety procedures and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Class B Mechanic or in general automotive repair.
- Ability to diagnose and complete repairs independently.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Own tools are preferred but not required.
