As our PreK Lead Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in creating a positive and enriching environment for our young learners. Your responsibilities will include:

Researching, planning, and implementing a successful Christian educational program with age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Maintaining SUTQ standards and guiding Teacher Assistants to uphold these standards.
- Leading prayer time and fostering the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and social development of children.
- Planning and implementing engaging activities such as math, literacy, songs, games, and storytelling.
- Ensuring the classroom and facility are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Conducting age-appropriate evaluations, reports, and classroom observations.
- Communicating effectively with parents through daily reports and discussions about their child’s development.
- Maintaining necessary records such as attendance, incident reports, and medication forms.
- Participating in in-service trainings (First Aid, CPR, Child Abuse Recognition, etc.) and emergency drills.
- Assisting with center activities, including parent tours, open houses, and community outreach events.
- Upholding confidentiality and fostering positive relationships with parents, staff, and administrators.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need: - A minimum of 1 year of experience working with preschoolers in a daycare or similar setting. - A Child Development Associate (CDA) certification or equivalent. - A solid understanding of preschool development, health, and safety best practices. - The ability to create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment for young children. - Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues. - Patience, empathy, and a true passion for early childhood education. - First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). - Physical ability to actively engage with young children throughout the day.
