What you would do
Typical responsibilities could include:

Designing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters and containerized infrastructure across AWS, Azure or GCP environments

Developing and managing infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, ensuring repeatable and version-controlled deployments

Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, building and deployment workflows

Implementing monitoring, logging and alerting systems to ensure platform reliability and performance

Automating operational tasks and reducing manual toil through scripting and tooling improvements

Collaborating with development teams to understand requirements and provide infrastructure solutions that enable faster, more reliable deployments

Maintaining platform security, compliance and best practices across cloud infrastructure

Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and implementing preventative measures
What you could bring
Most roles of this type require the following:
Must-have
-
10–15 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps or systems engineering

Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration at scale

Strong proficiency with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools

Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with CI/CD tooling

Experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure or GCP
-
Strong Linux/Unix systems administration and shell scripting skills

Experience with monitoring, logging and observability tools

Authorization to work in the United States
Nice-to-have

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent certification

HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate or advanced Terraform experience

Docker Certified Associate or demonstrated expertise in containerization

Experience with service mesh technologies or advanced Kubernetes patterns

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field

Experience mentoring junior engineers or contributing to platform engineering best practices
