Requirements for the Cook / Line Cook
- Previous cooking, kitchen, or food preparation experience is helpful but not required
- Ability to follow recipes, kitchen procedures, and food safety standards
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform frequent bending, lifting, and movement throughout the shift
- Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check and drug screen
Cook / Line Cook Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Portion, plate, and present food accurately and consistently
- Assist with food preparation and ingredient setup
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Rotate between kitchen stations as needed
- Support team members during busy meal periods
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
Pay, Schedule, and Perks for the Cook / Line Cook
- $17.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience
