Service Manage (Industrial & Commercial):
Crosby Electric, a Crete United Company, is looking for a Service Manager! Crosby Electric specializes in three main areas; Electrical Construction, Industrial/Commercial Electrical Service, & Electrical Preventative Maintenance, and is looking for a Service Manager to help efforts in the areas of Industrial service and Electrical Preventative Maintenance! This Service Manager will be located in our Montgomery office and will be managing jobs within 1 hour of the Montgomery office. The position is full-time and offers many great benefits, including a generous pay structure, and room for growth within the organization.

Project Types: Industrial, industrial maintenance, healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, data centers, and commercial type projects.
SERVICE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
· - Lead the efforts to maintain long-term owner direct relationships with new and assigned key accounts
· - Service manager will assume role of local DES (Designated Electrical Services Rep) where the pull through type work, inefficiencies, and other opportunities derived from or EPM services, are executed.
· Lead/assist with preconstruction activities required to backlog future work and keep crews busy.
· – Issues purchase orders for equipment, materials and subcontractors in a timely manner that does not jeopardize the project schedule
· Develops a plan for what is to be done, what resources are required and when; coordinates with field superintendents / the client / general contractors / subcontractors to meet timetables for completion of work. Ensure subcontractors have been scheduled to complete their activities as required by the scope of work.
· – Works with trade superintendents to ensure that the correct number of workers and the level of expertise required for each project is provided. Keeps manpower projection sheet updated to allow field superintendents to plan their resources.
· –Ensures that labor and materials meet the specifications of the client; this would include site visits, reviewing drawings and specifications as well as maintaining effective communications with the client
· – Completes monthly billings, monthly job cost reports, and monthly manpower requirements to ensure that profit margins are maintained according to estimates
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
· Ability to effectively coordinate between electrical and other trades
· 3 years electrical project management or general project management preferred or 8 years electrical field experience
· Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Strong work ethic
· Desire to teach assistant project managers and field employees
· Ability to multi-task responsibilities
· Computer skills to include MS Word, EXCEL, Project Management platforms such as Procore, and ability to learn new software.
· A Journeyman or contractor’s license is preferred but not required
· Pass background check and drug screen

Pay: $85,000.00 - $123,456.00 per year
