American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 15-week travel assignment in Hawaii, requiring 2+ years of independent MRI experience and ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.

Hospital-based diagnostic imaging department specializing in MRI
-
Independently performs clinical diagnostic MRI exams in accordance with department protocols
-
4x10 hour shifts scheduled Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
-
At least one on-call shift required per week

Work schedules may vary depending on staffing and operational needs, including rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays

Experience with GE MRI systems preferred

Epic EMR experience preferred

Minimum of 2 years of independent MRI technologist experience

ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required

BLS required

Successful completion of an accredited MRI program with a certificate, associate degree, or equivalent; or completion of ARRT advanced registry in MRI

A current State of Hawaii license in any radiologic imaging modality is highly desired — license required if applicable

Independently performs clinical diagnostic MRI exams using standard or modified imaging techniques in accordance with physician-ordered procedures, protocols, and quality standards

Travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to the start of the assignment; this appointment takes place at Hilo Employee Health and attendance is mandatory

Candidates should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before their Monday start date in order to attend the Employee Health appointment on Friday morning
