Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining attention to detail in presentation.
- Process payments using the cash register, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food handling and safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns.
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries or complaints professionally and promptly.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or busy shifts.
Skills
- Previous experience in a fine dining environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and guest service best practices.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
