Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Twos Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for children aged two years old. Your primary goal is to foster a love of learning while supporting each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. You will implement curriculum plans, manage classroom activities, and collaborate with families to ensure every child’s growth and well-being. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and physical development in accordance with educational standards and best practices.
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive interactions among children.
- Manage daily classroom routines including circle time, play-based activities, snack times, and rest periods with enthusiasm and organization.
- Use effective behavior management strategies to support positive behavior and social-emotional growth among toddlers.
- Document each child's progress through observations and assessments; communicate regularly with families regarding developmental milestones and concerns.
- Incorporate principles of special education and early intervention when necessary to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons
- Ensure cleanliness, safety protocols, and proper maintenance of classroom materials and equipment.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories, curriculum development, and early childhood education standards.
- Strong classroom management skills combined with the ability to foster a nurturing environment.
- Familiarity with teaching physical education, literacy education, math concepts, and preschool teaching strategies.
- Experience working with children with special needs or in inclusive classrooms is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, families, and team members.
- Certification or training in early childhood education is desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality regarding student information.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
