Fast‑Learning, Patient‑Centered Medical Assistant – Primary Care Family Practice

About the Role
You’ll work closely with our Nurse Practitioners to ensure each patient visit runs smoothly—from intake to follow‑up. This position blends clinical support, administrative coordination, and compassionate patient interaction. Your ability to learn new workflows quickly and adapt to a busy primary care setting will make you an essential part of our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and create a supportive, patient‑centered experience
- Room patients, obtain vitals, update medical histories, and prepare charts
- Assist NPs with exams, procedures, and care coordination
- Manage phone calls, messages, and patient inquiries with clarity and empathy
- Handle lab draws, point‑of‑care testing, specimen processing, and documentation
- Support medication refills, prior authorizations, and referrals
- Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure efficient daily workflow
- Protect patient confidentiality and uphold all clinical compliance standards
What We’re Looking For
- Fast learner who picks up new systems, processes, and clinical tasks quickly
- Patient‑centered communicator with a calm, reassuring presence
- Strong organizational skills and comfort working in a dynamic environment
- Experience in primary care, family practice, or outpatient medicine preferred
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) strongly preferred
- Phlebotomy skills a plus
- Reliable, team‑oriented, and committed to high‑quality care
