Pay: $12/hr
Caregiver Responsibilities
As a caregiver, you will provide non-medical, in-home assistance to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent.
Daily duties may include:
- Assisting with baiting, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Preparing light meals and assisting with feeding when needed
- Light housekeeping; including laundry, dishes, and tidying living areas.
- Assisting with walking, transfers, and mobility.
- Shopping for groceries or running essential errands
- Accompanying clients to appointments or community outings
- Monitoring changes in a client's condition and reporting changes
Qualifications
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to follow care plans and work independently
- Previous caregiving experience
