Job Description
An established, 10+ year business run is seeking a reliable, sharp E-commerce & Administrative Assistant to help manage daily office and shop operations.
This position is a blend of traditional office administration, basic business bookkeeping, and online store support. It is an ideal fit for military spouses, family members, or fellow retirees living on or right near Hickam who want a steady, part-time position with convenient hours that completely avoid off-base traffic commute battles.
No prior e-commerce or advanced tech experience required. While we sell online, the day-to-day tasks are straightforward and fully trainable. What we really need is someone with an organized mind, a great comfort level with numbers/record-keeping, and a strong work ethic. If you can listen carefully and execute fine details precisely, your character and drive will completely outweigh specific experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Office Administration: Handle daily clerical duties including physical and digital filing, sorting, and keeping the office space highly organized.
- Basic Bookkeeping: Manage daily financial tracking, log expenses, and handle basic business accounting records to keep things accurate.
- Inventory & Shipping Support: Track, organize, and accurately label physical inventory, and carefully package daily orders for outgoing shipment.
- E-commerce Support (Fully Trainable): Assist with routine online store tasks, which includes taking basic, straightforward product photos and entering simple descriptions. (We will easily train you on this—no advanced photography or tech skills needed!)
Job Requirements
- Base Access Required: You MUST possess valid, independent, unescorted military base access (Active Duty, Dependent, Retiree, or Veteran ID/CAC card) to be considered. We cannot sponsor base passes for this position.
- Core Talents: A strong comfort level with basic math, record-keeping/bookkeeping, and standard office filing systems.
- Meticulous Attention to Detail: Absolute precision when handling data, paperwork, and inventory tracking.
- Reliability: A solid work ethic and a strict commitment to the 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM schedule.
