Overview
AdvanTech is seeking an experienced Account Manager to serve as the central point of contact and client advocate for a portfolio of accounts spanning dental and medical offices, construction firms, and legal practices across the Southeast. This role is integral to client retention, satisfaction, and the overall service experience, requiring a high level of organization, communication, and cross-functional coordination on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Owns and manages all client relationships across a diverse portfolio of accounts, maintaining consistent communication and a deep understanding of each client's business needs and technology environment
- Acts as the primary escalation point for client concerns, stepping in when support tickets are delayed or unresolved to ensure timely follow-through and client confidence
- Conducts comprehensive 6-month Business Reviews with all active clients, evaluating service performance, identifying gaps, and aligning on future technology needs
- Leads onboarding introductions for all new clients, setting expectations, establishing relationships, and ensuring a seamless transition into managed services
- Evaluates and processes hardware quote requests, working with clients to understand their needs and delivering accurate, timely proposals through Quoter
- Performs thorough asset reviews of client technology environments using ScalePad, identifying aging or at-risk equipment and providing actionable recommendations
- Collaborates daily with technicians and internal managers, facilitating client communications and providing support on sensitive or complex client interactions
- Serves as an internal resource across departments, regularly assisting technical and management staff with client outreach, relationship guidance, and issue resolution strategies
Requirements
- 3+ years in account management, client success, or another client-facing role, ideally in IT services, an MSP, or a technology company
- A track record of managing a large book of business without letting details slip
- Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technology in plain terms and stay calm during escalations
- Solid technical literacy. You do not need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable talking through networks, hardware, cloud services, and security at a business level
- Organized and self-directed, with consistent follow-through
- Reliable transportation for client site visits

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
