Tools - All tools that are required for this position (hand, power, electrical, testing, etc.) are to be supplied by the employee. These tools must be maintained and organized in safe and satisfactory manner. Lost, damaged, or broken tools due to misuse or abuse will not be replaced at the expense of the employer.
Technical Skills – 12+ years of industrial mechanical, electrical, electronic, and instrumentation experience in a food processing/manufacturing facility
Mathematical Skills - Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and percentages. Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, thoroughness and efficiency.
Initiative and Ingenuity - Ability to apply appropriate judgment and initiative in determining source of information, and action required for results and solutions. Demonstrates a willingness to learn, and the ability to handle new responsibilities.
Reasoning Ability - Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical skills. High level of attention to details. Can demonstrate good common sense and reasoning skills. Ability to interpret a wide variety of instructions furnished in a written, oral, diagram or schedule format.
Other Skills and Abilities - Possesses above average organizational skills and the ability to plan and prioritize to meet multiple deadlines. Possesses a strong team player attitude and has the ability and willingness to work overtime to complete own work or to assist co-workers. Scissor lift, boom lift, forklift, welders, cutting torch, plasma cutter, box & pan brake, mill, lathe, sheet metal shear, specialized test equipment or tools for electrical and automation testing and repairs, various hand and power driven tools (electrical, gas and pneumatic).
