Schedule: 8am–5:00pm Monday-Friday.
Overtime and weekend hours as needed.

JOB PURPOSE
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of inventory transactions, inbound supply chain information, and product documentation across multiple branch locations. This role serves as the primary administrator for inventory receipts, inventory adjustments, shipment status updates, and Material Test Report (MTR) documentation within the ERP system, ensuring timely, accurate information for Purchasing, Warehouse Operations, Sales, and Accounting.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY
Inventory Control
· Process inventory receipts, stock transfers, adjustments, and cycle count transactions in the ERP system in accordance with established procedures.
· Review inventory transactions for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company internal controls.
· Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in collaboration with Purchasing, Warehouse Operations, and Accounting.
· Maintain accurate inventory records across all branch locations.
· Support physical inventories, inventory audits, and cycle count programs.
· Ensure inventory transactions are processed in a timely manner to support operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
Inventory Documentation
- Manage the company's Material Test Report (MTR) database.
- Verify MTR documentation is complete and properly linked to inventory.
- Support internal & external customer requests for MTRs and product traceability.
- Maintain documentation required for quality and customer compliance.
Logistics Coordination & Shipment Visibility
- Monitor inbound domestic and international shipments through freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and other logistics partners.
- Update shipment milestones and expected arrival dates (ETAs) within the ERP system based on logistics provider notifications.
- Maintain accurate shipment status information from supplier pickup through final delivery to company warehouses.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse Operations, Sales, and logistics providers regarding shipment delays, schedule changes, and transportation issues.
- Maintain shipment documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, customs documentation, and other transportation records as required.
- Assist with shipment discrepancy investigations and freight-related issues to ensure accurate inventory availability and system visibility.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Education/Credentials
High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor degree in related field desired or equivalent
related experience.
4 year post-secondary education, or equivalent experience.
Experience
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in related field.
Knowledge/Competencies
Strong MS Excel computer skills.
Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented.
Mathematical skills
High accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and resolve practical problems.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
