Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare invoices for review, on a frequent and regular basis; including T&M, and service invoices
- Assist in recording cash receipts and electronic payments
- Work with field staff to research, analyze and process invoices for payment
- Research and resolve issues and discrepancies between quotes and invoices
- Data entry of invoices related costs associated with specific jobs/projects
Other
- Balance accounts, ledgers and reporting results to COO
- Bank reconciliations
- Assist with other accounting tasks as needed
- Generate reports as needed
- Cross train in full payroll process
- Assist in administrative functions as needed
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Experience, Education, and Skills
- Associate’s degree in accounting preferred
- Construction experience preferred
- QuickBooks knowledge preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- Able to meet deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work with a variety of people
Pay/Benefits
Part-time 15-20 hours per week
- $18-22/hour based on experience
- 5 PTO days offered after 90-day probationary period
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
