Key Responsibilities

Provide grief support services through individual/family counseling, peer support groups and community programming
- Plan, coordinate and facilitate groups in office, in area schools or in the community

Provide assessment and focused, grief counseling services for all ages

Document in Heartlinks’ web-based data management system
-
Collaborate with the Heartlinks team and volunteers
Other Opportunities
- Participate in community outreach and special events programs
- Perform all other duties assigned by Director, and Clinical Staff

Qualifications
-
Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or other mental health profession
-
Professional licensure or eligible for licensure (supervision towards advanced licensure is available as a benefit)

Experience with adult and youth group work
Skills
-
Group facilitation and planning skills
-
Ability to provide virtual and in-person counseling
-
Mental health evaluation, assessment, and referral skills
-
Proficiency Microsoft Office and Google applications
-
Understanding of confidentiality and privacy regulations
- Personal transportation necessary
