Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established recipes and standards
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders efficiently
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food prep areas, dining spaces, and service stations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and providing correct change
- Assist with food safety practices by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
- Support other team members by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring a smooth flow during busy hours
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that makes guests feel valued
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is advantageous but not mandatory
