DIRECT HIRE – Engineering Technician – Laurens, SC
Axiom Staffing is recruiting for a Direct Hire Engineering Technician opportunity with a manufacturing company in Laurens, SC. We are seeking a hands-on technician with manufacturing experience who is comfortable troubleshooting equipment and processes, performing testing, collecting data, and supporting process improvements.
Location: Laurens, SC
Salary: $60,000–$70,000/year, depending on experience
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40–50 hours per week

Engineering Technician Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling
- Assist with process improvement and R&D trials
- Set up and monitor trials and collect process data
- Prepare samples and assist with material testing
- Operate and calibrate lab and process-testing equipment
- Analyze data and prepare reports on findings
- Create and maintain SOPs and technical documentation
- Support TPM, LEAN, equipment uptime, and yield improvement initiatives
- Perform quality inspections and follow safety/EHS standards
- Work in both plant-floor and lab/testing environments
Engineering Technician Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of technical experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with manufacturing equipment and processes
- Experience with data collection, testing, analysis, and reporting
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and climb stairs
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Ceramics, or a related field preferred
