Senior Commercial Roofing Project Manager
Location: Indiana - primarily Indianapolis and surrounding counties
Salary: $95,000 – $130,000 (Based on Experience)

As a Top 100 Roofing Contractor, we’re growing fast and seeking a Commercial Roofing Project Manager to take the lead in managing and executing large-scale roofing projects.
Position Summary:
This role is designed for an experienced leader who can manage all aspects of commercial roofing projects. From planning and procurement to keeping up with billings and closeout. You’ll work closely with our field teams, clients, subcontractors and in-house controller, to ensure every project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution
- Lead all phases of commercial roofing projects from inception to completion
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and work scopes
- Ensure all project milestones and deadlines are met
Team & Field Leadership
- Supervise, support, and motivate field crews and subcontractors
- Foster a collaborative and productive job site environment
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure work quality and safety compliance
Budget Management
- Track and manage project costs to ensure financial targets are met
- Work alongside our in-house Controller on: Pay applications, Job forecasting, Schedule of values, Completion and tracking of lien waivers
Material Procurement & Logistics
- Coordinate ordering, delivery, and storage of materials
- Oversee fabrication and ensure materials are ready when needed
Technical Oversight & Construction Knowledge
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Ensure proper installation of commercial roofing systems and components
- Experience with drywall, masonry, trim carpentry, and general construction is a plus but not necessary
Quality Assurance & Safety
- Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA and safety regulations
- Manage and oversee heavy lifting operations on job sites as required
Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
- Provide clear updates on project progress, challenges, and key milestones
Change & Risk Management
- Manage change orders and scope adjustments as needed
- Identify and resolve issues before they impact project success
What You Bring:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial roofing or construction (MUST)
- Deep understanding of roofing systems, installation techniques, and construction processes
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and performing construction estimating
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Physical capability to conduct job site inspections and, when needed, assist in lifting operations
- Relevant certifications (OSHA, PMP, or Construction Management) a plus
