The Opportunity
We are seeking a Head of IT to lead and oversee IT operations across multiple operating companies. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our technology infrastructure while driving strategic technology initiatives that support business growth.
You will work directly with executive leadership to develop and execute the company's IT strategy, implement new systems and technologies, strengthen cybersecurity, and improve operational efficiency across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical leader who enjoys both strategic planning and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT operations across multiple operating companies
- Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy and technology roadmap
- Oversee network infrastructure, servers, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and endpoint management
- Help implement and maintain new IT systems, infrastructure, and business technologies across the organization
- Evaluate, recommend, and deploy new technologies, including AI and automation solutions
- Manage cybersecurity initiatives, policies, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
- Oversee user account administration, hardware procurement, software licensing, and IT asset management
- Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure issues
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, service providers, and technology partners
- Maintain IT documentation, system standards, and operational procedures
- Collaborate with executive leadership to improve operational efficiency and support company growth
- Lead technology projects, infrastructure upgrades, and system implementations
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including infrastructure, systems administration, or network administration
- Experience leading IT operations or serving as the primary IT resource for an organization
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows Server, networking, and cybersecurity best practices
- Experience implementing and supporting enterprise IT systems
- Excellent troubleshooting, project management, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with executive leadership
Preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, switches, wireless infrastructure, and virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks, endpoint security, and disaster recovery planning
- Familiarity with AI tools, automation platforms, and business process improvement
- Experience supporting multiple business locations or operating companies

Additional Requirements
- Ability to reliably commute to our York, PA office
- Occasional travel to support other company locations as business needs require
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
