Cardiac Ultrasound Technician
Location: Tahlequah, OK
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac Ultrasound Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of essential duties, including:
- Preparing and updating patients’ medical records.
- Ensuring proper sterilization and maintenance of lab examination tools and equipment.
- Preparing patients for ultrasound examinations and explaining procedures while addressing their inquiries.
- Operating ultrasound and plethysmography equipment effectively.
- Performing sonographic examinations to develop vascular images.
- Applying ultrasound gel appropriately to the required areas.
- Programming and adjusting scanners to capture comprehensive images.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Requirements:
- Current AHA BLS certification
- RDCS registration
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
- Familiarity with Cerner Charting
- Experience with adult echocardiograms and bubble studies is a bonus
- Gray scrubs required
