Duties
- Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service
- Manage inventory control, including stocking, merchandising, purchasing, and inventory management systems
- Oversee sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle cash handling with accuracy and integrity
- Train, develop, and motivate team members in customer service skills, sales techniques, and operational procedures
- Coordinate shift schedules, monitor store performance metrics, and implement strategies to meet sales goals
- Conduct employee interviews, onboarding, and ongoing training to build a skilled retail sales team
- Maintain organized bookkeeping records, payroll processing, and adherence to store budgets
- Ensure compliance with company policies on pricing, merchandising standards, and safety regulations
Skills
- Strong leadership with supervisory experience
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued
- Proficiency in negotiation, purchasing, inventory management, and retail math
- Skilled in managing POS systems, cash handling procedures, and cashiering operations
- Demonstrated expertise in retail management including shift management and operational oversight
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, and employee orientation processes
- Knowledge of marketing strategies to promote store events and sales initiatives
- Effective organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping and stock control
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently through time management and problem-solving skills
