Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
This role focuses on the mechanical assembly of parts and components in a clean, partially climate-controlled production environment. You will use hand and power tools to assemble products according to specifications while following established safety and quality procedures. The position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physically active, repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Responsibilities

Perform mechanical assembly of parts and components according to work instructions and blueprints.

Use standard hand tools, including the ability to safely and effectively turn a wrench, to assemble and secure components.

Operate basic power tools as needed to complete assembly tasks.

Conduct basic quality checks on assembled parts to ensure they meet specifications and standards.

Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work area.

Maintain a clean and organized work station in accordance with workplace standards.

Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions as part of the production process.

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and timelines.

Report any issues with parts, tools, or equipment to the appropriate personnel.
Essential Skills-
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and comfort working with mechanical components.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jefferson City, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.32 - $18.32/hr.
