We are seeking a skilled, energetic, and customer-oriented Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced bar and karaoke environment.
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and creating an enjoyable experience for every customer.
Schedule & Availability
We are currently hiring for the following regular, ongoing shifts:
- Wednesday: 5:00 PM – 4:00 AM
- Friday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 PM – 4:00 AM
Applicants must be available to work all three shifts consistently for the foreseeable future. These shifts will be part of your regular schedule, so please apply only if you are able to commit to all three shifts on an ongoing basis.
Occasional time-off requests may be accommodated with advance notice and management approval.
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and engaging manner.
- Take drink orders and provide recommendations based on guests' preferences.
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, shots, beer, wine, and specialty drinks.
- Follow established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout the shift.
- Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Operate the POS system accurately to enter orders, process payments, and close checks.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Engage with guests and create a fun, welcoming, and memorable experience.
- Proactively upsell drinks, shots, and other beverage items to increase sales.
- Maintain awareness of guest needs and provide prompt and attentive service.
- Follow all applicable alcohol service, food safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude throughout the shift.
- Work effectively with servers, barbacks, managers, and other team members.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, and securing the bar.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, cocktails, shots, beer, wine, and common drink recipes.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong multitasking and time-management skills.
- Basic math skills and the ability to accurately handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Comfortable using a POS system.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Must be available for all three listed shifts on an ongoing basis.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
