Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) – Mental Health & Substance Use Clinician
Location: McPherson, KS (On-Site Requirement: Must be able to commute daily)

Are you a compassionate substance use professional dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate recovery? We are seeking a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) to join our clinical team in McPherson, Kansas.
Please note: This position requires regular on-site presence in our McPherson office. Candidates must be able to commute reliably to McPherson, KS to fulfill on-site clinical duties.
As an LAC, you will provide specialized substance use and co-occurring clinical care, including individual and group therapy, comprehensive diagnostic assessments, and recovery-focused treatment planning. You will work closely with internal team members and community partners to support lasting outcomes for our clients.
Clinical Work
Provide individual and group addiction counseling to clients and their families.
Perform clinical assessments face-to-face and via telemedicine.
Develop, review, and update individualized treatment plans.
Communicate regularly with referral sources, probation, and community care partners.
Maintain clinical outcomes in alignment with quality standards.
Support smooth coordination of care across multidisciplinary services.
Administrative & Quality
Maintain thorough, timely documentation per state licensing standards.
Attend scheduled administrative meetings and participate in clinical supervision as needed.
Work cooperatively with professional staff to support a positive team environment.
Participate in required staff development and professional training.
Productivity

Minimum Education: Bachelors in addiction counseling or a related field required. Will consider a Kansas licensed QMHP with preference being a licensed addiction counselor. The following credentials can be considered: LAC, LMAC or LCAC.

Minimum Experience: Experience working with adolescents, adults, and older adults in a substance use disorder counseling capacity. One (1) year of behavioral healthcare clinical counseling or clinical case management work experience.
