American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery travel assignment requiring Epic proficiency and high-risk L&D experience, including antepartum care, maternal emergencies, and VBAC/TOLAC.

Hospital Labor & Delivery unit setting

Patient population includes high-risk labor, antepartum, pre-eclampsia, diabetes, multiples, VBAC/TOLAC, induction/augmentation, and maternal emergencies
-
Patient ratios: Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)

Some weekend shifts required
-
Floating between facilities within the state is expected

No on-call required

EMR: Epic (required)
-
Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Minimum 2 years of L&D RN experience required

Experience with acute care high-risk Labor & Delivery, antepartum care, and maternal emergencies required

Epic EMR experience required

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Provide nursing care to high-risk laboring and antepartum patients, including active labor management, induction/augmentation, and response to maternal emergencies

Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Former permanent employees of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility

Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
