Triangle Tavern has been a Longview tradition since 1959. We’re known for hot rods, cold drinks, great food, and a steady flow of regulars who expect consistency every time they walk through the door. From busy Happy Hours and Wing Wednesdays to Steak Weekends and Sunday Fundays, we run a fast-paced kitchen built on teamwork and execution.
We are hiring an experienced Line Cook to join our night and weekend crew.
What You’ll Do
- Execute menu items consistently during high-volume service (wings, burgers, bowls, steaks, fish & chips)
- Run a single-shift line in a fast-moving tavern kitchen
- Operate fryer, flat top, grill, and sauté stations with confidence
- Handle prep, stocking, pars, and station organization
- Maintain speed, cleanliness, and food safety standards at all times
- Communicate clearly with teammates and front of house during rushes
- Support a team-first culture — no egos, no shortcuts
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years line cook experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar
- Strong fryer and grill skills (wings, burgers, steaks)
- Solid prep fundamentals and knife skills
- Ability to stay composed and productive during peak service
- Reliable attendance and punctuality (non-negotiable)
- Clean, organized, safety-focused work habits
- Comfortable working nights, late nights, weekends, and special events
- Drug-free workplace mindset
We are open to training the right applicant, but this is not an entry-level kitchen role.
Schedule & Pay
- Full-time: 35–40 hours per week
- Shifts: Nights, late nights, weekends required
- Starting pay: $17.50/hour plus guaranteed tip pool
