Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products related to smoking accessories, vaporizers, CBD products, and more
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits of various items
- Maintain organized merchandising displays that attract attention and optimize sales opportunities
- Handle cash register operations using POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately and efficiently
- Stock shelves, manage inventory levels, and ensure products are well-stocked and appealing
- Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales revenue
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions professionally, offering recommendations, and maintaining phone etiquette
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or cashiering within a grocery store or similar environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for transactions and inventory management
- Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and product demos confidently
