Press Operator – Campobello, SC
We’re currently seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our clients growing team!
As a Press Operator, you’ll play a key role in operating press machinery to produce high-quality stamped components. If you have a strong work ethic and enjoy working in a hands-on manufacturing environment, this is an excellent opportunity to build your career.
Pay is based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and tend press machines to manufacture precision stamped components.
- Perform quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.
- Read and interpret blueprints and use standard measuring tools and gauges.
- Maintain safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and perform minor equipment adjustments.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Press Operator.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools, fixtures, and gauges.
- Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Blueprint reading experience a plus.
