Duties
- Develop and maintain high-quality backend systems utilizing Laravel framework, ensuring code efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI components built with React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to support web services and external integrations
- Optimize database design and queries using relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server
- Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and performance
- Participate actively in Agile software development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Manage version control using GitHub, SVN, or TFS to maintain code integrity across development stages
Skills
- Extensive experience with Laravel PHP framework for developing scalable web applications
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and React for front-end integration
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and web services (SOAP/WCF)
- Hands-on experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB; including database design and T-SQL scripting
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications
- Knowledge of system design for distributed systems and multithreading concepts to enhance application performance
- Proficiency in version control tools such as GitHub or SVN; experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment workflows
- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and SDLC best practices
- Experience with application development tools like Visual Studio Code or Eclipse; familiarity with WCF services and Web APIs
- Ability to write clean code following UML diagrams and software engineering principles; experience with debugging complex issues efficiently
- Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Python or Ruby is a plus but not required
