Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for the food industry, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Pay is $2.13 per hour plus tips.
Duties (include but not limited to):
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing exceptional guest services throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Manage tables efficiently, including bussing and resetting tables as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math for processing payments.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience. Communicate with management team regarding customer concerns/ feedback.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation practices is preferred but not required. We can provide training on these procedures.
