Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Process cash, credit card, and retail sales transactions accurately while managing cash register operations.
- Prepare simple food items following food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Ensure food handling procedures are followed diligently, including sanitation, proper food storage, and workspace cleanliness.
- Manage customer orders efficiently, ensuring timely service and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean workspace by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and supporting overall restaurant sanitation standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; retail math skills are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food handling, and kitchen equipment operation.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing register operations.
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain training upon hire is preferred.
- Experience in food industry roles such as serving or cashiering in cafes or grocery stores is advantageous.
