We are looking to add a few new part-time team members to the retail counter at Five Points Artisan Bakeshop. Five Points Artisan Bakeshop is a family owned and operated artisan bakery located in Squirrel Hill/Point Breeze in Pittsburgh, PA. It is our goal to make the best European style breads possible, and to produce the highest quality pastries available.
We are looking for a reliable individual with service industry and/or retail experience to work 1-2 shifts/week. The position would be for one regular weekend (Saturday or Sunday) morning shift with the possibility of one Wednesday afternoon shift. These would be consistent, regularly scheduled shifts and would be perfect for a student or someone looking for a second, part-time job. This is not a summer or seasonal job.
Job duties include waiting on customers, taking orders in person and over the phone, packing orders, assembling boxes, some occasional heavy lifting, walking and standing for up to 7 hours at a time, and light cleaning duties. Our bakery is busy, so expect a lively, sometimes fast-paced atmosphere with lots of multi-tasking and customer engagement. Holiday availability is a plus.
