The Holiday Inn Express is searching for a skilled maintenance person that is knowledgeable in basic plumbing, electrical, heating and a/c, and able to make simple mechanical repairs. The right candidate is able to assess an issue and determine the necessary action for making repairs. This person is reliable, honest and works well with little supervision. Must be flexible and on-call for weekends.

Responsibilities
- Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
- Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
- Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
- Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
- Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
- Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
- Produce accurate logs, charts, and preventative maintenance forms
- General repairs experience with drywall, carpet, and tile helpful
- Ability to perform Preventive Maintenance Tasks
- Analytical approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work, communicate and maintain positive guest and colleague relations
