Job Overview
Access Family Health is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team, splitting time between the Nettleton and Tremont School Based Clinics. You'll work full days at each location, typically 2 days a week at one clinic and 3 days at the other.
Each day, you'll work alongside the same small team, a receptionist and a provider (FNP), giving you a consistent group to collaborate with at both sites. In this role, you'll help provide quality health care to students, faculty, and staff at both locations, helping the whole school community stay healthy. Your work will ensure patients receive personalized care, comfort, and support while keeping everything compliant with health care regulations. Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and screenings, including vital signs, basic exams, and health history documentation using the athenaNet EHR system
- Administer medications and injections accurately, following prescribed protocols and HIPAA confidentiality guidelines
- Perform routine nursing duties like vitals, injections, and lab work
- Monitor patients' health closely and respond quickly to any medical needs that come up during the school day
- Coordinate with school staff, families, and other health care providers to make sure patients get the follow-up care they need
- Educate patients on basic health management, from minor illness care to chronic condition support
- Keep health records accurate and current
Qualifications
- Required: Valid Mississippi LPN license
- Preferred: Clinic experience
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with a weekly schedule split between two clinic sites
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to connect well with patients of all ages with patience and professionalism

Pay: $21.63 - $22.00 per hour
