A contract opportunity is available for experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in the Jacksonville, FL area, to provide supportive, consultative services across multiple schools. This full-time assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with BCBAs working approximately 35 hours per week (7 hours per day), supporting PreK programs at 5-7 schools, including self-contained classrooms and specialized center-based settings.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid BCBA licensure is required.
- Previous experience supporting PreK programs and/or working in educational or school-based environments is preferred.
- Strong skills in consultation, providing observations, data collection assistance, modeling interventions, and developing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with teachers and staff.
- Must be comfortable with an itinerant schedule, supporting several sites.
- Willingness and ability to complete required fingerprinting and background checks according to Florida and district policies.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with teachers and staff in self-contained PreK classrooms, offering behavioral expertise, recommendations, and modeling of strategies to support student needs.
- Conduct observations, assist with data collection, and help develop and implement FBAs.
- Support the effectiveness of school-based teams by providing resources, training, and monitoring fidelity of behavioral plans.
- Maintain adherence to all ethical, regulatory, and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with district personnel and contribute to problem-solving around student behavior plans.
This is an in-person, on-site role (remote/VOCO work is not available). The contract includes all necessary onboarding and credentialing support, and you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the success of students and school staff.
