Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PFA (Preschool Foundation for All) Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to early childhood developmental stages, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and effective classroom management strategies.
- Deliver child development instruction that supports cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth in preschool-aged children.
- Engage in early intervention techniques to support children with special educational needs or developmental delays.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share progress updates, discuss concerns, and foster collaborative relationships.
- Maintain accurate documentation of child progress, behavior reports, and mandated reporting laws compliance.
- Ensure safety by adhering to first aid and CPR protocols, maintaining cleanliness, and following childcare regulations at all times.
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings with a strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Proficiency in curriculum development across multiple disciplines including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori teaching methods.
- Demonstrated classroom experience with effective classroom management and behavior management techniques.
- Knowledge of special education needs, early intervention strategies, and inclusive teaching practices.
- Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles while fostering a love for learning.
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in early childhood education or Montessori certification are highly desirable.
