Your Responsibilities
- Provide individualized, one-on-one support to children
- Follow behavior treatment plans developed and supervised by a BCBA
- Teach communication, social, play, learning, and daily living skills
- Implement structured skill-development programs
- Support children during both structured teaching and play-based activities
- Accurately collect and document data on client performance and progress
- Assist children with overcoming behavioral and developmental barriers
- Collaborate with BCBAs, supervisors, and other team members
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with families and coworkers
- Follow all ethical, clinical, safety, and confidentiality requirements
- Help maintain a welcoming, organized, and supportive treatment environment
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to successfully complete all required background screenings
- Willingness to complete the required 40-hour RBT training program
- Interest in applied behavior analysis, child development, psychology, education, or human services
- Dependable, patient, compassionate, and receptive to feedback
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team
- Commitment to supporting the growth and development of children
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children
- Current or previous Registered Behavior Technician certification
- Experience in ABA therapy, behavioral health, education, childcare, or a related field
- Coursework or education related to psychology, education, child development, or human services
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
