ISL Education Lending is looking for an accountant who will be responsible for several daily, weekly and monthly processes to support the fiscal department.

The qualified candidate will perform:
- Daily bank activity monitoring and verification.
- Daily Great Plains journal entry/integration processing.
- Daily processing of ACHs via Wells Fargo CEO.
- Daily processing of transactions, such as borrower payments.
- Loan sale preparation and processing.
- Monthly non-cash query processing and general ledger booking.
- Monthly accrual query processing and general ledger booking.
- Monthly reconciliation of several general ledger accounts.
- Postage allocation and general ledger booking.
The qualified candidate will:
- Have working knowledge of accounting concepts.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Have strong oral and written communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plans preferred.
The qualified candidate must have:
- An associate degree or higher education (preferred).
- Four years of related accounting experience (preferred).
The position requires the employee to:
- Sit frequently.
- Use office equipment, including personal computer, keyboard and mouse.
- Interact frequently with others in person, over the phone, and via email and other devices.
- Work occasional variable hours.
