Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Assemble fresh poke bowls according to customer specifications, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Process retail sales transactions accurately, handling cash and card payments efficiently while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment to uphold food safety standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and answering questions about menu items.
- Follow food safety guidelines during food handling and preparation to ensure a safe dining experience for all guests.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed to support daily operations.
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista or in food service environments with café experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of beverage service, drink preparation, and food handling practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing sales accurately.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours and ensure timely service delivery.
