Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Develop and refine beverage recipes to enhance the menu offerings and meet guest preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages during busy periods.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquet or catering events to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending within fine dining or hospitality environments; cocktail experience and mixology skills are essential.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly.
- Strong understanding of beverage recipe development, wine knowledge, spirits expertise, and craft beer experience.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Food service experience with a focus on customer satisfaction; hospitality industry experience is highly valued.
- Ability to process cash transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, basic math skills for retail math calculations, and cash handling procedures.
