Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across diverse populations. You will implement evidence-based therapy plans that foster meaningful improvements in communication abilities. Your expertise will help clients of all ages overcome speech impairments, enhance language skills, and improve overall quality of life through personalized care and collaborative efforts.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders in patients.
- Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapy sessions via in-person or telehealth platforms, utilizing engaging techniques suited for children.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams such as educators, physicians, occupational therapists, and families to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Educate and involve parents or caregivers in therapy processes to support ongoing progress at home and in daily activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment progress, and session notes within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Stay current with advances in physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and evidence-based practices related to speech-language pathology.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (e.g., ASHA certification preferred).
- Experience working with children in early intervention programs or school settings is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to develop and execute effective speech therapy plans for individuals with speech impairments or disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology.
- Experience conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for diverse populations.
- Familiarity with telehealth therapy delivery methods and prior telehealth experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills for working with patients of all ages as well as their families or caregivers.

Pay: From $78,000.00 per year
