Responsibilities:
- Prepare Sushi Dishes: Create sushi dishes according to established recipes, ensuring high-quality taste and presentation with a Korean twist.
- Maintain Quality & Presentation: Focus on delivering visually stunning and delicious sushi dishes that meet our high standards.
- Sushi Station Organization: Keep your station clean, organized, and stocked to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient levels and restock as needed, maintaining a well-stocked and efficient sushi bar.
- Collaborate with the Kitchen Team: Work together with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth, fast-paced operations in a high-energy environment.
- Adhere to Safety Guidelines: Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe and clean kitchen.
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Significant experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role, with a strong foundation in sushi preparation techniques and ingredients.
- Korean Flavor Expertise: A deep understanding of traditional Korean ingredients such as kimchi, gochujang, and other key elements to create innovative sushi dishes.
- Creative Flair: Ability to blend Japanese sushi techniques with Korean flavors, pushing the boundaries of traditional sushi preparation.
- Precision & Attention to Detail: Excellent knife skills and a keen eye for detail in both the preparation and presentation of sushi.
- Ability to Thrive Under Pressure: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen without sacrificing quality or efficiency.
- Team-Oriented: Strong communication and collaboration skills to contribute to a positive, efficient team dynamic.

- Focused Role: This position is dedicated solely to sushi preparation and does not involve catering or front-of-house duties.
- Competitive Compensation: Pay is based on experience.
