Preform Solutions, Inc., a leading manufacturer in the packaging industry with over 20 years of experience, is seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team in Sioux Falls, SD.

Responsibilities

Work both autonomously and with management to identify facility maintenance needs

Complete facility projects such as painting, patching holes, changing light bulbs etc.

Some cleaning duties in accordance with company food safety regulations

May assist equipment maintenance team with preventative projects such as changing filters, as needed
-
Light repair work like changing out fixtures, minor plumbing repairs, etc.
Qualifications

Ability to use Ladder and scissor-lift (with proper training) as needed to complete projects

Strong knowledge of hand tools

Experience with building maintenance preferred

Previous home/building repair experience preferred

Previous HVAC experience

High mechanical ability

Ability to multi-task and switch between projects quickly

Strong communication skills

Detail-oriented and organized

Able to stay on task to see project from start to finish

Ability to work autonomously

Ability to stand/walk on concrete surfaces for extended periods of time
Compensation
Starting pay for this position is $27.00-37.00/hour depending on experience
Hours
Hours for this position will be Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
