Urgently seeking a pneumatic driver who will operate a specialized Tanker that transports materials sensitive to air or moisture, such as dry bulk, cement, using compressed air to load without contamination. Additionally, observing pneumatic pressure gauges to ensure that they are maintaining a safe pressure while offloading into a silo.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate pneumatic trucks, including tractor-trailers equipped for bulk material transport, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations.
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Navigate local routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems, delivering materials to designated sites on schedule while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Manage logistics and BOL
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or route driving within local or regional settings.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, truck loading/unloading procedures, and safety protocols related to truck driving and logistics cargo handling.
