Created specifically to meet the evolving needs of the Campbellton Road neighborhood's growing community of workers and residents, Azalea Market combines the convenience of a neighborhood store with the elevated standards of a curated culinary experience tailored for this vibrant district. We offer fresh produce, locally sourced meats, grab and-go meals, and specialty grocery items in a welcoming, community-driven space.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- ● Store Leadership: Serve as the primary leader for the entire store, driving a culture of excellence, accountability, and community engagement.
- ● Overall Store Performance: Take full ownership of the store's P&L, ensuring financial targets are met through sales growth and expense control.
- ● Talent Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, fostering an environment of continuous growth and exceptional service.
- ● Store Performance & Customer Satisfaction: Analyze store performance metrics, implement improvements, and maintain high standards in service and product quality.
- ● Team Management & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and support store managers and operational staff to create a strong and effective team.
- ● Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all stores adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- ● Budgeting & Financial Oversight:
- Manage operational budgets, analyze financial reports, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- ● Technology & Process Optimization: Introduce technology solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency in store operations to optimize sales, reduce waste, and control operational costs.
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY REQUIRED:
- ● Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Experience in Operations Management, or a related field.
- ● 5-7+ years of management experience in a high-volume retail or grocery environment, with at least 3 years in a General Manager capacity.
- ● Exceptional ability to lead diverse teams and manage all aspects of store business performance.
- ● Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and merchandising.
- ● Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- ● Experience with retail systems, POS, ERP, and inventory management platform.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
