PalmCraft Cabinets is a fast-growing custom cabinetry manufacturer serving builders, designers, and homeowners throughout Tampa Bay.
We combine European-style cabinetry, local CNC manufacturing, and a digital design-to-production workflow to produce kitchens, closets, vanities, wall panels, and custom architectural millwork.
We're looking for the person who connects design with production.
This is not an interior design position. We need someone who understands how cabinetry is actually built and can turn approved designs, architectural plans, and field measurements into precise, production-ready shop drawings.
What You'll Do
- Create detailed cabinet and millwork shop drawings — plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Engineer cabinet construction, dimensions, fillers, panels, reveals, hardware, clearances, and installation conditions.
- Turn approved designs into factory-ready technical packages.
- Resolve conflicts with appliances, countertops, plumbing, electrical, and field conditions before production.
- Develop solutions for custom and non-standard cabinetry.
- Coordinate with designers, project managers, CNC production, and installers.
- Review projects for technical accuracy before they reach production.
- Work with Mozaik, which we actively use for cabinetry design and production preparation.
Who We're Looking For
- 3+ years in cabinet engineering, millwork detailing, or shop drawing production.
- Strong understanding of how cabinetry is built and installed.
- Ability to read architectural drawings and work with field measurements.
- Strong AutoCAD or comparable technical drafting skills.
- Experience with frameless / European cabinetry preferred.
- Mozaik experience is a plus, but not required. If you haven't worked with Mozaik before, you must be willing to learn it and use it as one of your primary tools at PalmCraft.
- CNC manufacturing experience is a significant advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.
We’re looking for someone who can translate design intent into accurate, buildable shop drawings — with a strong understanding of cabinetry construction, manufacturing, and installation.
Compensation & Work Arrangement
$25–$40/hour, depending on experience and technical capabilities.
We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates.
The position can be on-site, hybrid, or fully remote for the right candidate. However, on-site work at our Oldsmar facility is strongly preferred, allowing direct collaboration with our design, CNC production, and installation teams.
